The DCU Music Society offers something for everyone. With two choirs, an orchestra, a fully equipped practice room for bands, events and competitions, discounted tickets, trips away, lectures, and collaborations with a host of other societies. The Music Soc holds lessons in a variety of instruments for beginners, as well as providing a facility for musicians to meet other people with similar tastes, and even form a band. Throughout the year Music Soc hopes to give aspiring DCU Musicians a chance to perform and display their skills through the Open Mic Nights and the Battle of the Bands. Music Soc is a great way to meet new people, get involved in the music scene, and take part in lots of exciting events throughout the year.

Welcome to the DCU Music Society Website. It was designed to display general information on the Society, along with info on bands, the choir, the orchestra, and also display news and a calendar of past and upcoming events. You can also subscribe to an RSS feed for our News and Events, search the site, or visit our Photo Gallery, and Bebo and Facebook sites. This website was created using PHP and MySQL, which outputs valid XHTML and CSS. It also employs mininal javascript, and is edited using a bespoke Content Management System, allowing members of the committee to log on and update the site.
